Where is Rauchhof?
Rauchhof is in Auer (Ora), in South Tyrol’s Unterland region, among apple orchards. The address is Bahnhofstrasse - Via Stazione 92, 39040 Auer – Ora, Italy.
What is the apartment layout?
The 69 m² apartment has an open-plan living and dining area with a kitchen, a separate bedroom and a bathroom. It is on the ground floor and has step-free access.
Is the sauna private?
Yes. The sauna is inside the apartment and is exclusively for guests staying there. The outdoor seating area also belongs to the apartment.
Can I arrive by train?
Yes. Ora–Auer railway station and the bus stop are about a five-minute walk from Rauchhof. The village centre is around 15 minutes away on foot. A dedicated cycling and walking path connects the property with the centre.
Is there parking and Wi-Fi?
A private parking space at the property and Wi-Fi are available. The apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and an e-bike charging option.
How do I enquire about a stay?
On the Availability page, you can check the calendar and send a no-obligation enquiry for your preferred dates. We will reply personally. An enquiry is not yet a confirmed booking.

Local tourist tax
From 1 January 2024, a local tourist tax of €2.50 per person per night is charged for all guests aged 14 and over.
General terms
- Prices apply to stays of at least 2 nights.
- A 10% surcharge applies to short stays.
- Each additional person is charged €15.00–20.00 per day.
- Children up to 2 years old stay free of charge.
- A reservation becomes binding only after the deposit has been received.
- Pets are not allowed, out of consideration for the high-quality furnishings and future guests.
- Payment can be made in cash, by PayPal or in advance by bank transfer.
Arrival and departure
- Arrival: your apartment is ready from 3:00 p.m.
- Departure: please vacate the apartment by 10:00 a.m.

Cancellation terms
Unexpected things can happen even on holiday. We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before your arrival date.
If you cancel less than 14 days before arrival, we charge 50% of the total amount. If you cancel within the last 7 days, fail to arrive, arrive late or leave early, we charge 100% of the total amount.
If the entire cancelled period can be rebooked, we offer a free change to your reservation by agreement.
Guest Pass… Terms and conditions
When the accommodation agreement is concluded, guests receive the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass, valid from 00:00 on the day of arrival until 24:00 on the day of departure (according to Provincial Government Resolution No. 732/2022).
The Guest Pass entitles holders to use all public transport in the Südtirolmobil network and includes additional services that vary by tourism organisation. More information: suedtirol-guestpass.info
The body responsible for the Guest Pass in South Tyrol is the Mobility Consortium, appointed by the South Tyrolean Association of Tourism Organisations (LTS). Full details and conditions are available at suedtirol-guestpass.info.
